SOOTHE

I’ve found myself
Speaking the prayer
I told myself I would never make.
The effort my voice makes
To move air
In twilight hours.
With each word
My intentions multiply
And with each return
I know the words replied.
In these times
With these truths
That which is written for you
Will surely come to soothe

HARD WORK

Some action needed
Prose or few
Thinking and reason
The why’s and how’s
Which make the who’s
Yes everyone needs to ‘manifest’
Their own quest
But what’s the use of such a typical
Motivational ‘quote’
If you can’t fathom - how to why
What’s changed in your patterns
To fulfil your
Oh so mundane
Typical
Dream

WOMEN’S WORK

This labour of love
Plays havoc like no other
Impend my movement
Through unfounded doubt
From treason of soul
To joy hath fulfilled
This course be treasured
Yearn great depths
Climb higher, longer
Faster, be stronger
Gather on your obsession
Two ends shall meet

FURNITURE OF MY SOUL

Set straight, knowingly
Prevail, set sail
Deeper, deepening, deepest
Rounder, sounder, louder
Feelings of felt intent
Gratitude, gained, still gaining
Fired, focus, fuelled comfort
Spur sour growth
Rightful, reckless pain
Throw up, throw caution
Furniture of my soul
Tangle, tangible
Evergreen dreams
Shot straight through
Messy, direct seams
Listened, still listening
Learnt the lessons
Reach a kingdom
Worth your being

DEEPEST SEAS

When it is held
Fear that it will break
and crumble
Into a thousand worlds
That it will be taken
Snatched
Even with prior warning.
Temporary state
Of all life, it seems,
Has taught me
To never redeem,
To close down boarders,
Darken seven seas.
To what ends
Do dreamers dream?
Rebuild these parts
There were lands of milk
And sweetest honey
Flowing free
